We place value on OTHER PEOPLE’S OPINIONS. 
We care about what others will think and even have fear of what others will think.  Our worry about what others think is exhausting and overwhelming.
 
WE CANNOT CONTROL HOW OTHERS FEEL ABOUT US! 
WE CANNOT CONTROL THEIR OPINIONS OF US.
 
In this episode we are going to talk about OPINIONS:
WHY DO WE CARE ABOUT OTHERS OPINIONS? 
WHAT OPINION MATTERS MOST?
HOW WILL YOUR LIFE CHANGE WHEN YOU STOP WORRYING ABOUT OTHER’S OPINIONS?
Listen and learn how we have an inherent need to fit in and not go outside the pack, so we place value on opinions and expectations of our social, cultural, or familial circles.  We avoid feeling the emotion of pain and fear of not being accepted in an effort to fit in.  Because of this, we lose our sense of authenticity and belonging.  
Trying to fit in is a betrayal to yourself and the opposite of belonging!
We can control other’s perceptions and opinions of us.

Feelings are why we do everything! In today’s episode we are going to talk about FEELINGS! 
What they are
What we DO with them and why
And what we really should do with them, which is allow and process them
 
Learn how feelings are emotions or vibrations we experience in our bodies and are directly related to the thoughts we’re thinking about a circumstance and NOT the circumstance itself.
 
Feelings start in our brain and move down into our body! 
 
And feelings are voluntary and come from the thoughts we have about a circumstance and not the circumstance itself
Learn how we have 4 options on how to behave when we have an uncomfortable feeling or emotion.  We can RESIST, REACT, AVOID, OR ALLOW the emotion.  Only one of these options will serve us and give us the confidence to try anything because we have practiced sitting with the feeling.
 
When we are willing to feel any emotion, we will also be willing to try ANY GOAL or FACE ANY UNCERTAINTY!

Episode 11 - Fear of Failure

In this episode I will be talking about fear, specifically THE FEAR of FAILURE.
 
I will:
DESCRIBE what fear is and HOW it is created
Go over what our PRIMITIVE BRAIN is trying to do when we FEEL FEAR
WHY we really have fear or specifically what we make FEAR OF FAILURE MEAN
TEACH how we can OVERCOME THE FEAR OF FAILURE and
Go over an activity to identify our fears and how to overcome the fear of failure
Listen how fear is created by our thoughts and also comes from the primitive part of our brain that wants to protect us.  Most of our fears come from what we think others will think of us if we fail and what we make it mean IF we do fail.  We can overcome fear by recognizing it, understanding why our brain does it, describing the feeling and being ok with discomfort, and knowing failure is part of the deal when working towards success, our goals, dreams and ambitions. 
The feeling of fear or the fear of failure does not mean something has gone wrong or something is wrong with us.
 
We need to fail forward and double, even triple, our rate of failure to have success.  
 
We are meant for great things and our possibilities are endless!
 
Don’t let others opinions, fear, and fear of failure be a barrier to our own success ladies!! You’ve got this!

In this episode we will be talking about INSECURITIES, more specifically my personal insecurities AND HOW MY BRAIN WAS FINDING EVIDENCE TO PROVE MY THOUGHT that I did not belong as a speaker at an upcoming conference.  
Learn in this episode how I took a real-life example and used my coaching tools to work through my negative thoughts.

Awareness by using a Thought Download and 
The Power of Positive Questions
Listen how I was able to discover that I was feeling insecure because I thought I did NOT BELONG due to two really deep seeded beliefs.  Beliefs I didn't realize I was holding onto from my childhood.
Often, we will find ourselves thinking negative thoughts about ourselves due to deep seated BELIEFS we have adopted along the course of our lives.  Learn how holding onto these beliefs have unintended consequences in our behavior and undesired results, like in my case, my productivity tanked and my depression ramped up.

Beliefs are WHY we do anything and everything!! 
 
BELIEFS ARE THE foundation of our identity.
WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE?
 
In this episode we will learn what beliefs are, the ones we have that can be illogical, the ones we adopted from our childhood, community and society.  
What if I told you that a belief is simply a thought you have had over and over again?  A sentence you have repeated over and over in your head whether it be absolute truth or not.  Or a sentence someone or society has said over and over again to you, and you bought into it.
Many people look at the challenges and trials of life and believe they’re unlucky. Some believe they’re no good because of the situations in which they’ve been involved in or the things that have happened to them.
We can choose to believe we are our circumstances, which are [events outside our control], or we can choose to believe WE ARE NOT defined by our pasts and not doomed to repeat them. 
We can choose to believe we’re meant to live BIG, WONDERFUL LIVES INSTEAD.
It’s not the events in our lives that shape us but rather our beliefs about what those events mean. 
In this episode I will teach you have to identify a belief system that has hindered or hurt you and then learn how to try new thoughts that are believable and healthy that will drive behavior and desire outcomes that are positive and rewarding for your career and relationships.

HAVE YOU EVER STRUGGLED WITH GOING FROM A NEGATIVE THOUGHT TO A POSITIVE THOUGHT?
You are not alone!
The reason we cannot do this is because OUR BRAINS are struggling with cognitive dissonance. 
Cognitive dissonance is the mental discomfort we feel when we introduce a new contradictory thought and therefore our brains disagree with us. 
We cannot trick our brain when we have had negative thoughts about our circumstances and all of a sudden tell ourselves everything is FABULOUS.  Everything is unicorns, rainbows and glitter!!
So how do we overcome cognitive dissonance so we can get our desired outcomes that are driven by positive believable thoughts?
 
WITH BRIDGE AND LADDER THOUGHTS!!
 
WHEN WE HAVE BELIEVED A THOUGHT for a long time, WE NEED TO START WITH A THOUGHT that our brain WILL believe in order to move from a negative thought and undesired outcome to a positive thought and desired outcome.
 
WE MUST BRIDGE THAT GAP WITH AN "IN BETWEEN" THOUGHT OR BELIEF, THAT IS LIKE A STEPPING STONE TOWARDS OUR POSITIVE OR DESIRED THOUGHT.
