Episode 5 - Bridge and Ladder Thoughts
HAVE YOU EVER STRUGGLED WITH GOING FROM A NEGATIVE THOUGHT TO A POSITIVE THOUGHT?

The reason we cannot do this is because OUR BRAINS are struggling with cognitive dissonance.
Cognitive dissonance is the mental discomfort we feel when we introduce a new contradictory thought and therefore our brains disagree with us.
We cannot trick our brain when we have had negative thoughts about our circumstances and all of a sudden tell ourselves everything is FABULOUS. Everything is unicorns, rainbows and glitter!!
So how do we overcome cognitive dissonance so we can get our desired outcomes that are driven by positive believable thoughts?
WITH BRIDGE AND LADDER THOUGHTS!!
WHEN WE HAVE BELIEVED A THOUGHT for a long time, WE NEED TO START WITH A THOUGHT that our brain WILL believe in order to move from a negative thought and undesired outcome to a positive thought and desired outcome.
WE MUST BRIDGE THAT GAP WITH AN "IN BETWEEN" THOUGHT OR BELIEF, THAT IS LIKE A STEPPING STONE TOWARDS OUR POSITIVE OR DESIRED THOUGHT.
